Adam Spencer
President
Adam has been in the restoration industry for 20 years, starting his career in Destin, Florida then moving back to his home state of Virginia to continue his career growth. He gained his experience holding many positions throughout the years at various companies making him well versed in the restoration industry.
Adam is certified through the IICRC and the ACAC in WRT (Water Restoration), AMRT (Mold Remediation), CMRS (Certified Mold Remediator), OCT (Odor Control), and FSRT (Fire Restoration). He also holds a certification for Large Loss Mastery along with above.
Adam served in the United States Marine Corps as an M1A1 Tank Crewman; inspiring for the Iron Horse Restoration company name to pay homage to the M1A1 Battle Tank.
Adam pursued his dream to open a restoration company to provide honest and good quality work for a fair price; to be able to support and give back to the communities that surround him.
When Adam is not working he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his sons sports, and traveling for his daughters competitive cheer events.
Carl LaBelle
Vice President
Carl brings over 20 years of experience in the construction and restoration industry. He grew up in northern Maine helping his family build and operate a lodge and guide service, where he learned the value of hard work and craftsmanship. Since then, he has managed thousands of restoration projects along the East Coast, with most of his career dedicated to serving homeowners and businesses in Virginia.
Carl fell in love with Virginia and its community, which ultimately inspired him and his business partner, Adam, to establish Iron Horse Restoration in 2025. Their mission is simple: to provide honest, high-quality restoration services to the local community.
When he’s not leading projects, Carl enjoys hiking, fishing, camping, and spending time with his dogs and friends. He is also an active participant in community events throughout the region.
Alex Galimore
Project Manager
Alex has six years of experience in mitigation and is certified by the IICRC in Water Restoration (WRT). Outside of work, Alex enjoys singing, fishing with his family, and volunteering at a local cheer academy as a proud ‘Cheer Dad.’ He is dedicated to delivering excellent results and takes pride in ensuring each customer’s satisfaction.
Alex Yanes
Project Manager
Alex has over 5 years of experience in restoration and mitigation, starting as a Technician and rising through the roles of Crew Chief and Asbestos Supervisor to his current position as Project Manager. Throughout his career, Alex has gained in-depth knowledge of every aspect of the trade. His favorite reassurance to customers during water or fire clean-up and repair is, “Do not fear, Alex is here.” Alex is committed to providing outstanding service to you and your family, from the initial call through to the completion of every project. He is also certified in asbestos mitigation.
Jabari Shaffer
Marketing Agent
Jabari has worked in restoration for 4 years with a marketing background for 10 years. He has excellent customer service skills & communicates effectively at all levels. Proud father of 3 children. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, coaching boys basketball & comedy shows with his wife.
